OK,if you can have a jedi church i'm gonna start an elvis church.elvis was alot like jesus cause he hung out with prostitutes and came back from the dead(we have sightings all the time).in this church if you SIN you will be "all shook up".if you do not repent you must go to the "heart break hotel"where you will suffer for ever and ever.go ahead and laugh but check back in fifty years and you'll see the faithful in jumpsuits and sun glasses.thank you very much(said with a bit of a snear)...peace...

I would like to take the time to welcome any new members to the Jedi Church

1. There are important implications of this melting pot or tossed salad culture for my study of interpersonal communication. One of the most important implications is that in order for me to communicate the best I can,it would be very helpful to be able to relate to a wide variety of views and cultures. Whether it is a melting pot or a tossed salad,this country supports a wide diversity of culture and being able to relate to cultures other than one's own is crucial in effective communication.Since our culture defines our values and expectations,then by being able to relate to to other cultures,we can relate to others values and expectations.And this can be important in interpersonal communication.As the article say,America is not a one dimensional culture.

2. I do not think that there is too much emphasis on being politically correct on college campuses today. I believe that being polite and not offending other people is an important aspect of interpersonal communication. Since this country shares a wide variety of cultural perspectives there are sometimes differences in opinion on what constitutes polite conversation.There needs to be a standard.Alienating people can have a detrimental effect upon interpersonal communications.Therefore it is useful to have some common level of political correctness and I do not believe that there is too much emphasis on college campuses today.

3. There are several specific interpersonal skills that will help me to communicate effectively with others from different cultural and ethnic traditions.Sometimes,interpersonal communication can be complicated and there are no second chances.Focusing on the things we have in common rather than our differences is an important skill.Sensitivity to the behaviors,values,and expectations of another group of people is another important skill to have.Knowledge and skill at communication are a crucial elements of interpersonal communication.Motivation and the ability to adapt are important aspects of interpersonal communication,as well as ethical conduct in your personal relationships.These specific skills will help a person to communicate more effectively with others from different cultural and ethnic traditions.
