OK...so, I've got a crappy cordless phone...even when charging all night, I may only get 3-4 hours talk time. I go upstairs to use it...it's not in the charger... Five feet away, one of the kids is lolling on the bed...watching cartoons...with the phone RIGHT BESIDE HIM! WTF!!! I can't understand why kids are so freakin' lazy these days! Don't tell me to get a new phone...unless you're buying it for me. Don't tell me to beat the children senseless...tempting as it is, they're not mine...

mine is the same way but the problem with mine is the battery..

Ofcourse people still use landlines not everyone has the option.... unfortunatley the area where I live is down in a deep valley and there is NO cell service signal.


My 12yo Sister does the same thing with the 2 cordless phones in my house. Why she uses both phones until they both die I just can't understand.

I don't think anything can be done about it (besides what you said we shouldn't mention).

same here as i need a house phone. but i also have a cell phone which i need for emergencys while im gone i got it mainly for dialysis
