Topic: guys, shall women start conversation?

I think if both parties are interested then who cares who starts the conversation? The people I talk to on here, I initiated the conversation and they replied. I believe as long as you aren't a complete moron and you are respectful with your first message then you will always get a reply. Ok, I guess there always that feeling of rejection that everybody wants to avoid. Mony*

i dont usually talk to guys first cuz im shy, "especially when they have ur number n u have theirs wait for them to call, then they think that you are easy" -HAH, thanks mom. You are right if you talked to them they think you are easy, if you give them your number they get some control, ask for his number instead

We're in the 21st century. I think women should start the converstation, once and awhile. Why shouldn't they have a turn at it? I'm somewhat old fashioned, myself, but I see nothing wrong with women starting a conversation, esepcially if the man in her life, wants her to start it, whenever there's something on her mind. I'm shy, too, Monica, but I would talk to a lady, if I could see one to talk to, whose not too young for me.

I'm not shy at all and will talk to anybody and everybody if the mood hits. If they don't want to talk then move on.

i find it flattering, but im not shy or anything like that,i personally just dont feel to make the first move,if they do,great,if they dont,oh well not my lost.

what do u think? are you expecting that a woman would come to talk to you 1st. I don't like that idea still, I feel like I m still a little bit old fashion. No a womens place is in the kitchen!
