I am always concerned with sounding like a witch for stating specifics in my profile. BUT, Im all about not misleading anyone or wasting time if their location, age or so on is not what I am looking for.

I think your profile is excellent!! Unlike many who are very selective you take a positive instead of a negative tone.
I always believe a person comes across better when they state what they want rather than what they do not want. Good job

With all due respect shagwell, cosmo & oprah are not gunna be dating the person, I will. I dont feel I should ever have to settle. I dont NEED a man but I sure would like to find love. I have learned from my past relationships & experiences...that is what makes us grow to the people we are today.

With all due respect shagwell, cosmo & oprah are not gunna be dating the person, I will. I dont feel I should ever have to settle. I dont NEED a man but I sure would like to find love. I have learned from my past relationships & experiences...that is what makes us grow to the people we are today. can you share with me what your learned from your past relationships and experiences?

I have learned what I like & dont like.... as we all learn over time. For example (things stated in my profile): I know I dont want to date a smoker (eww)....I know I dont ever want to date someone long distance again (tried that twice...plus I cant since I now am working 6 days a week). The other things are just little things that you tend to take into consideration as a possible red flag because of that "familiar feeling". I really didnt post this to air my laundry, sorry. |

Pretty good profile. If you are sticking with the non smoking locals, you can set that up in your email settings so that only people that meet your criteria can email you.
Finally someone who didn't say, "And my children are my life!!!"

Nothing wrong with being picky personally i have more problem with people that are not and will go out with whoever looks at them. Good profile, specific & straight to the point and unless they don't read it (lots don't) they should know what to expect. |
