Topic: --- No Longer A YouTube Virgin (Coldplay) | |
---|---|
Around Christmas-time I got a nice HD camcorder & have been playing around with it some. I just finished uploading my first YouTube ever, & let me tell you, it was quite the pain in the a$$ trying to get it right.
Here's the link: Coldplay (cover by moi) - Green Eyes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjTwsk6qqR4&fmt=22 If you have a YouTube account, please rate & comment, would ya?!?! ...and if you don't, now would be a good time to create one =) Let me know what you think. ...also, let me know if the "watch in HD" comes up. On my computer, I can watch the video in HD using Internet Explorer but can't in Firefox for some reason. Maybe it's just my computer?!?! Hope you all like it! ![]() |

I didn't see the HD and it would only play a little then a circle in the middle a little more anouther circle If you pause the video & let it buffer for a while, it won't do that. Either your internet connection is a bit slow right now, or youtube's slow right now. Pause it and wait for a minute then hit play again. Thanks for listening! ![]() |

Nice little studio, awesome headphones, awesome mic, nice keyboard, nice guitar, nice voice.
Ever play any Parkwood guitars? Isnt it fun when you bump your acoustic on something after you start recording? Consider it rated* |

Is that an acoustic or do they make both? I've only owned a few off brand acoustics & a few Martins. hahahaha! Yea; I should have edited that out! ohwell |

Now that I've figured out how to do it, I'm sure there'll be more to come. I'll probably do some more cover songs, a few of my own, and some footage of the Big Island here after going on some trips with my cam. |

BTW, the reason I chose this song is cause my GF has green eyes =) I sent her the link to it & she said she'd listen to it tonight. I didn't tell her what song or that I made it for her. I hope she likes it! ![]() ![]() |

They will give you the sound of the Martins and Taylors without costing 3k. |

I need to take it to a shop & get it fixed cause I can't string the bottom E anymore; where the peg goes in is busted so in the video I'm only playing 5 strings LOL!! That and the strings are friggin old & need to change em & I was too lazy to tune to 440 so don't bother trying to play along; I've no idea what key it'd be! |

I checked out the Parkwood guitars & they look like they give you the best bang for your buck. Musician's friend has their solid mahogany spruce top dreadnought priced at $500 that's supposed to be comparable to Martins & Taylors.
Do you own one polarity? What do you think of them? |

Tee Hee. I didnt notice the missing string until you said that. It does sound a little deep.
Is it the actual peg thats busted? This happened to my brothers but it was the Low E. I spent a lot of time one day trying to tune it without the peg shooting across the room. |

Ive got the 310M. Its not the 5 series but its easily the best sounding acoustic Ive ever owned and one of the best sounding that Ive played. |

I spent a lot of time one day trying to tune it without the peg shooting across the room. Not the peg unfortunately, it's the peg hole itself. Somehow, under too much pressure I guess, the hole busted & became bigger. I either need to find a friggin huge peg or give in & take it to a shop. No one seems to notice, even when I play out LOL! |

Ah thats rough. I guess your natural sound is making up for the lack of string. |
