Sometimes, Just sometimes, you can't love yourself untill you know that someone else does. If no one else loves you then why should you love yourself? There's obviously nothing to love if no one loves you.

... its possible to love someone if you don't love yourself... i absolutely hated who i was when i met my ex fiance... but emphasis on ex... since i didn't like who i am... i figured he didn't either... and it brought out all kinds of trust issues in the relationship (on top of stuff that he did, too)... when i finally changed how i felt about me, it was too late to fix the damaged relationship...

No way, and why would someone be attracted to someone who didn't love themselves first? Because that's something that could change. There are usually fixable reasons why someone would feel that way about themself.

It may not be pretty, but it's fun while it lasts. At least I'm enjoying it......
