It was so cold this morning, when I let my dog out for his morning relief, I had to go out and break him off the tree.
And then I had to come inside and open the refrigerator so I could get warm. |

I'm actually now living in Florida. But I was remembering the days when I lived in the snow belt and had a snowplowing business. Brrrrrrrrrr

Well, my car started okay but the wiper fluid was frozen.... I could barely see on my way to work.

I remember how much time it took me to fix my hair and makeup so I was presentable for work. I would then go outside to clear the snow off my car, only to have the snow blow back over me from a sneaky gust of wind. It would inevitably destroy my hair and makeup so I'd look like Zorba the mad scientist before I was finished.
Going outside to clear the car off before hair and makeup was not an option because it took everything I had just to work up the nerve to go outside. And my fingers would hurt to the bone even with gloves on. And let's not forget the loop-de-loops that my car would do on those elusive patches of ice!! |

I was born in Ohio. I have also lived in Idaho and Wisconsin.
Now and for most of my life I have lived in Austin, Texas and I do not miss cold days at all. It was 30 outside this morning when I took my pupperz out and that was plenty cold for me. |
