When I drive through the town where I grew up, it's a shame it went way down hill. I still have all my childhood friends, still keep in touch.

The smell or taste of burnt french fries reminds me of my great grandmother. She would babysit me when I was around 3, and she always made me fries that were burnt.

the smell of wood like the lake house or sawdust, cigarette smoke, the smell of coffee brewing and waffles cooking the smell of the air in the fall and winter....the colors of the seaweed and the smell of salt water in the summer
