Take a deep breath. Things might look better tomorrow and perhaps you and the boss can talk things out. Best of luck to you.flowerforyou

Yea...yea...that's what they all say!

And thanks for the spanking Alzheimer...but this isn't the first thread he has posted about his crappy, un-fair job. Life is un-fair...suck it up, soldier...or find a new one. In these tough times, I'm sure somebody is willing to fill his space...just sayin'.

I read it and got lost a little.... But it sounds like its time for jack to take a stand.. If your boss yelled for no reason and you fear if you answer back that you may lose your job.. by all means let it lie.. Go the next day and see if he will talk to you about it.. NO ONE has the right to berate someone else for no apparent reason. So you may have a choice to make.. Quit or keep quiet.. best of luck

I constantly get rode by my boss at work.. its not all bad. He has people he has to answer to as well. When those people are upset they ride him its a trickle down effect. I have learned to say this.."are you done yet? so maybe I can get back to work? or do you want MORE frustrated customers?"

hears something that makes no sense you get cussed out for no reason yelled harassed if you say something back to the boss you get fired are the cops called on you makes no sense if someone disrespects you can say whatever no one has the right to that especially if you get yelled for something you didnt do in your house you cant runaway but if you hafe to sit there and take it nonsense then you do something they dont approve you get kicked it something you work hard for i say forget that ill be treated with respect say and do what i want

Hey Dude if someone is bullying you to the point you thoughts are running together you might want to make a change.

Saying what your rights are and exerciseing them are two different things. Sounds like any job would be better than that kind of situation. I know the economy is tough but there are better living environments too.

Sometimes taking a step back makes it possible to leap forward. Maybe you have to leave some things behind but things are surpriseingly unimportant when your life is peaceful and you have respect. They are also easily replaced when you don't live in and environment that poisons life for you or your friends.

My suggestion is to dial 411 and start finding some help. United Way has some great help and much of it is free.

Some of the responses are tough here but life is tough everywhere. People are not going to help you if you are not at least going to make an effort to help yourself. Stateing your specific problems in a clearer format you might find people here more helpful. From what we know (not much about the variables in your problem) it is not like we can give you very much help. Sympathy is really not much use. Most successful people know that.

I'm all for good writing and all but please people have the decency of answering something, he asked for your advice and all you can do is laugh at him.

If you didn't do it then no reason for your boss to yell at you try to make him understand that. If he doesn't care and keeps on going, it is up to you to decide if that job is worth the aggravation.

I wonder who has the problem the one writing one big sentence or the ones who can concentrate long enough to read it.

wow, it took how many views for someone to stand up for the guy and focus on the issue!? kudos... and jack, sounds like you had a rough time, but you don't have to subject yourself to that, move on and move forward. Good luck

Lets hope i spell all of this correctly.

This is the first forum rule...

FORUM RULES

1) Do not attack/slam/insult others. You can discuss the message or topic, but not the messenger - NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are attacked by another user, and you reciprocate, YOU will also be subject to the same consequences. Defending yourself, defending a friend, etc. are NOT excuses. Violations of this rule are taken very seriously and may result in being banned without warning!

**********************************************************

Belittling someone, for their spelling/punctuation, is indeed, insulting. Therefore, it is against forum rules. Moreover, if your intelligence is so superior, i would think, that following eighteen simple forum rules, would be a breeze, surely, the first one is simple enough.

Please do not attack/insult others.

Thank you for your cooperation,
Mark
