Topic: Girls Who Wear Glasses

Dorothy Parker's rhyming to the contrary, I have always found myself
attracted to girls who wear glasses. Maybe it's because I wear them
myself (tried contacts and that's a horror story for another day), I
don't know.

I think there's a sort of perceived intellectual component there, the
quiet but deep librarian type, the girl who buries herself in some sort
of creative endeavor while secretly yearning for the one man who can
match her, IQ point for IQ point.

I wonder if Danielle Steel is listening?

Anybody else have any thoughts on people with bad eyes and fashionable
eyewear? Or fashionable eyes and bad eyewear?

I've only had my glasses for about 6 weeks. I thought I would hate
them, but I don't. People actually compliment me all the time. My
daughter has a thing for guys who wear glasses. So it can't be a bad
thing.

I always thought it was kinda sexy when you whip your glasses off in the
heat of things....means you want to get down to business blushing

I don't know Lex, the first time a man took off my glasses in the heat
of the moment, it was very sexy to me.

All I know is when I take mine off, I run into walls and/or parked cars.
Do that 6 or 7 times and you start to get the hint!

I lost my first bf in 5th grade because I started wearing glasses. He
was an sob anyway, I just didn't know that term back then.

Since then I've never had any complaints! Put up a pic with my glasses
on so y'all could see em. glasses

See, I have always wondered if it was because I don't generally find
myself attracted to the types that I'm culturally "supposed" to be
attracted to. The Playboy Centerfold type has no appeal for me -- they
just look too, uh, artificial or something. Most of the big-name models
do nothing for me.

Growing up, most of the guys I hung around with would have negative
things to say about girls with glasses -- they were called "mousy" or
"nerds" or whatever.

But I always liked that look....

You were just more mature than them Lex, and some boys never grow up, ya
know what I mean.
