Thanks,but isn't the name of the game on sites like these to put peoples in contact with one another and I don't mean with the forum community.Should just the regular way with dropping different peoples messages supposed to work as well,at least wasn't that the purpose of such sites. Well, the problem with that is then you have a bunch of complete strangers who know nothing about each other, writing notes to people and no one ever answers. With the forums, you have a chance to get to know something about the individual posters, over time, by reading their posts. Without the forums, all you have is a (usually worthless, 7-word) profile and maybe some pics. I'd rather work with the forum format myself. |

Hell all,my name is Robin and every so often I come in here to see if there is anybody interesting to talk to out there,but what I've noticed over the last little while is not many peoples choose to talk at all,even though they sit logged in because I have certainly messaged a few and not gotten any response.I Would honestly have to say that this site is as boring as the *Plentyoffish* site,no talkers What do you want to talk about? I came from the site you mentioned and they do want to talk there but the moderators are far too strict. This place seems nicer and more relaxed although a heck of a lot slower. I think you just need to build up a circle of friends here if you want to talk a lot. It seems they don't talk much to new people but I see you have been here awhile so I am wondering why you don't already have friends here? Maybe you have to invest more time if you want to get good conversation. btw, You wouldn't happen to be a nice guy, would you? |

I tried PoF, to no avail.
But the people here are actually people. I've only been approached by one bot trying to get me to join a paysite and I've actually had great conversations with people I've met on here. It takes time and it takes effort, but it's not all in vain. Good luck! |

I guess.But,I honestly thought that the reason why sites like these were put out there was so peoples from different walks of life could communicate through Im messaging,emailing as well,but that doesn't seem to be the case at all.
