What portion of these costs will be paid for by private donations?

Does this figure represent the total amount spent in events surrounding the event both public and private?

Would the cost be similar if not the same for a McCain inauguration?

How does this figure compare with past inaugurations when figuring in increased costs?

What factor does the large numbers of expected attendees play in the cost estimate?

What factor does the need for increased security play in this figure?

Who cares, who cares, who cares, this compared to a 700billion dollar bailout is very insignificant, so who CARES!

Well thomas does and I am sure others do as well.

I was just hoping for some clarification of the expected costs.

Information that I am sure will interest others as well.

I read most of the money is coming from contributions. I'm sure a huge chunk of it will go into security. There some are redneck republicans out there that may try to kill him.

I remember when Bush won the presidency, those that voted for him told disappointed voters to get over it. To be exact I think it was.

He won, get over it!! It seems we all have to suck it up every now and then, this is no different. We endured Bush....

I heard that the cost would be born by mostly private donors, but ultimately we don't have much control over what they will be spent.

I don't know why it has to be so fancy for any president, but hey that's just me...
