Is physical attraction really what it's all about now a days?

I think thats where it starts,Most people respond more to a person they find attractive,then comes getting to know their personality.Im not saying I agree with this,just seems to be the way it goes

It has importance to a degree, for me there has to be way more than just that. It's kind of shallow. JMO

You know some people think it's a bad thing. It's just the way we are wired. It's the way we pair up to propagate the species. There isn't anything wrong with it. It would be unrealistic to expect all men to put aside what I look like and be attracted to me anyway.

You are right. It is important to a certain degree. I would be a liar if I said that I didn't do it myself on ocassion. I have grown past that stage and at this point in my life I am trying to look at the good in people versus just what they look like on the outside. I realize that that is just my opinion though.

I believe a person should absolutely base their choice of mate on more than looks. It is simply very often the initial way we catch each other's eye.....being unentirely mental creatures.

Only to those who don't read profiles. Looks have never been a deal breaker- although having the personality of a rock and the temperament of a badger has. Read a profile, talk to a person and get to know them. Sadly people still don't understand looks fade way before a loving relationship does. |
