Topic: Thief vs. Liar | |
---|---|
depends on the intention of the lie... if it were something to not hurt you and you seen it that way also then thats forgiveable like he lied to you about liking your mom cause he knew that u loved her.. unless he cheated! or a lie about where they were and they were off getting xmas presents or making an appt for dinner for your birthday for a surprise... I see your point....small lies like that are ok as long as in the end they are revealed as such. |

I would rank a liar a thief, exactly the same.
Only differance would be the level of the lie or theft. Minor infractions aren't big things, I might not even bring them up. Major problems REQUIRE being dealt with. Each situation HAS to be considered on it's own basis. |

Major problems REQUIRE being dealt with. Each situation HAS to be considered on it's own basis. See, that was part of my arguement, from the thief's point of view. But he hasn't given me a "why" he could forgive a liar easier than a thief.......maybe the world will never know! |

A liar is essentially a thief who steals your trust. And we have a winner!! |

A liar is essentially a thief who steals your trust. Ditto so seems Pat is right they are one and the same. Once trust is broken it is hard to get it back you may forgive them but most of the time you will not forget the action. |
