Maybe you could write a little more about yourself... Vague profiles are hard to relate to.

You should put more work into your profile. When I read a profile from a girl I'm considering dating I'd like more than 2 sentences.

Sell yourself to us, tell people why they should date you. Answer some obscure questions like:
- What's your ideal career?
- If you only had $20 and had to spend a day having the most fun possible, what would you do?
- If you were a car, what kind of car would you be and why?
- If you could go anywhere in the world and do anything, what would it be?

Let people get to know you without having to ask, what you tell people can be oh so more valuable.

Really a very nice picture! Maybe post more pictures if available. Could go into a little more about the person you are looking for instead of just saying a friend. What qualities would you like him to possess, that sort of thing!

Well thank you for all the replies. I obvioulsy have to review my profile and get a bit more indepth with the information. I just basically added the basics to open up the profile and never looked back. Thanks for the feedback.

you don't look bad at all, but to be honest.... it's a slim to none chance that you'll actually find someone on here. I've tried finding a girl for a long time on here and have edited my profile multiple times, resulting in meeting one person who i went out with once. there's a reason why these sites are free because it isn't that easy to find someone that you actually connect with. Hell, you might even have better luck on Myspace, but that attends to attract younger people. so if you don't mind on being hit on by 20 year olds, it's the best place to be. Here is something really odd that i've figured out about this site and other dating sites out there. Women tend to be attracted to men with shorter profiles that tell less about themselves and men tend to be attracted to women that have lengthier profiles that tell more about themselves. I used to have a long profile and then i started talking to some friends of mine that weren't successful in finding a match, but got women to talk to them and seriously, they only had a few lines in their profiles and maybe one or two pics. most of the women that i've talked to tell something basic about themselves, where they went to school and what they do for a living... that would be a good start.

"looking for a friend" then "looking for a man for dating" kind of gives off opposite signals to me... nice pic you look great for 43... profile is very sparse though... more than one pic would be helpful for someone that may be interested welcome here

I see not much, except a 1 liner and that you work in the mental health field. You might want to put more of your personality in there.
