I hope so, too.  ....and, my folks already found the toy bag in all this hoopla - so, that part (at least), although humiliating to the extreme is already out in the open - and i haven't been disowned emotionally!   Ohhhh! Details! Details!  Back in the late 80's my mom got a shocker when she visited my house unannounced. Let's just say she calls first now. Well, they were apartment sitting on a day I was having new windows reinstalled and noticed I had put the ladder I had borrowed from them in my hall, just under the attic door. Dad thought he'd be helpful and install an attic light and a few floor boards on those beams while he was there. I guess curiosity got the better of him and he opened my play suitcase, the one that holds most of my toys. Must have been a shocker, for sure!  OMG

OMG   And, Mom was apartment-sitting one day last year and happened to open the toybox (large pink plastic storage tub) I had in the corner of my bedroom. I can only imagine the look on her face when she opened that one. Neither one of them has mentioned it to me, but they have hinted about it non-directly to me and through my son. |
