Have you ever decided you were tired of getting walked on? How did you start fighting back? |

i get back by being true to myself..if someone is going against my true self i get them the hell out of my life

Yes all my life. But then one day I finally woke up and said the bully will continue to bully if I let them and why in hell would I let them. This is my life not yours *&*!?%.

There has never been a legitimate reason for fighting. I just learned where to set my boundaries and ask that those in my life respect them. If they choose not to respect my boundaries, I choose to remove them from my life or at least limit the amount of influence they have.

Yes, but not in a romantic relationship.
I decided to stand up and fight back, to stop being the victim I'd been made to feel like I was, and offensively act, rather than defensively. Things have gone much better for me in that unfortunate relationship. |

How did you start fighting back? yeah, when my daughter started getting older and heavier i didnt have to start fighting back when i wanted her to stop, just said "daddy back cant take you walking it anymore" felt sooooo good to have her walk on my back though |

Have you ever decided you were tired of getting walked on? How did you start fighting back? They were only walking on me because I let them. Once I set new boundaries (and stuck to them! That was the hard part.) the problem, and the person, just went away after a while. She & I eventually stopped speaking altogether. No big loss. |

Have you ever decided you were tired of getting walked on? How did you start fighting back? Its not about fighting back. Its about learning to set limits and boundaries. Learning how to say "no" in an assertive, non-aggressive way. And, learning how to cut your losses and get away with your self respect if it can't be accomplished in a way that won't get you into trouble or mess you up. |

Have you ever decided you were tired of getting walked on? How did you start fighting back? the first thing you have to do is pick yourself up off the floor so that being stepped on is impossible. |
