 Do you think it's appropriate to begin dating someone if you are unemployed and unable to find work?

Only if you are upfront about your situation, I wouldn’t.

What better time is there to meet and get to know someone when you have more time to devote to the effort? Now if you're homeless and living under a bridge, the second date could be a challenge depending on the size of you box. laugh

I don't think so as long as you are honest and up front about your situation. The choice is theirs.

Didn't know there was a prerequisite to dating, love doesn't check your social status when it happens it happens.

be honest and up front about it

It would probably be tough finding someone willing to support you.

It's not a problem as long as you are up front :)

Gee.. I better hand in my membership card right now. ohwell

I think it is appropriate as long as one is truthful about their situation right up front. In fact I mention it right away, and tell people that I am at this point of my life and maybe you would like to reconsider...and maybe they are at a better point... but it hasn't ever made them decide not to date me... so I guess with them knowing the situation..the ball is in their court. Should one's life go totally on hold just because of one's employment status? Besides, being unable to find work can change at any given moment... my phone could ring in the next minute... spock

And the dating rate will be at an all time low....but alcohol consumption will be sky high.....meaning more booty calls.

Sure, as long as you are honest about your situation.

That is a difficult question...I guess if you could barely afford your own expenses you would not be able to afford another's.
