If I am not going to work....I dress to impress everytime I go outside my house. I wear slacks and a dress shirt to go buy dog food. The reason is....When I am in my grubby work clothes with my hair tucked up under my hat...I am ignored by pretty much everyone. When I dress nice, EVERYONE makes eye contact, smiles and treats me in a very friendly manner...People can kid themselves all they want about "Looks don't matter"...cause they do. Besides...dressing nicely has gotten me laid more than once.

It's REALLY about dressing for yourself first...for some of us, dressing 'well' (and I put that in semi-quotations because it's all a matter of interpretation) is what makes our self-esteem go way up and THAT is how you "impress" anyone - crush or otherwise. You have to feel great about yourself.

It's not what she wears that's counts but how she wears it. As for me I have been guilty of trying to impress with clothing instead of impressing her with who I am. Now THAT's impressive...with that attitude I think you've got all the style and class you need. Clothing optional!
