I was on my way to work tonight and a huge buck ran out in front of me and I hit it. It messed up the front of my truck pretty bad. I hope I will be able to get it home in the morning. I still have one headlight at least. I called a friend and he went to go check on the deer, I know it will die, but it wasn't when I left. I didn't want it to suffer. It couldn't get up. It scared me to death, let me tell you!

My sister-in-law hit one down in NC and it totalled her car. Thankfully you are okay and I hope your truck isn't too damaged.

It's great that you are ok. don't wash the truck until insurance has seen it. They might send someone out to try and avoid the claim.

I don't know if I will be able to get home with it in the morning. I made to work, but I will have to see in the morning.
As far as insurance, I did have full coverage. Liability won't cover it. The truck wasn't worth that much in the first place, they wouldn't give full coverage on it. |

He said it was about a 10 point they went back the next mornin and someone had already cut the deer's head off I don't know how many points he had, I haven't talked to the guy who picked it up for me. His wife did call to check on me and said one side was broke, so I don't even get to keep the horns. |

So glad you are fine.
It happened to me a few years back, a scary experience. And to let you know the deer hit me! Did all I could to avoid the accident. Not only do I attrack jerks but deer too.
