dude picked me up ... we went to a local pub.. we sat... had one drink.. he talked about all his money and his fast car... i ordered more drinks.. 40 minutes into it i was toasty enough to have the nerve to say "ya think we're done yet?" in which he smiled and chuckled and said "god yeah" .. never spoke to each other again. ;p Can I use that line???? LOL Good for you. lol yeah totally. had no idea i was one to take it that long. poor guy looked just as irked as i was. ;p |

Boring dates talk about their mundane jobs and the boring people they work with. And they tell you stories that they think are so hilarious, but they're mostly retarded. Courtesy laughing is exhausting. All of the fake smiles - ugh. |

Valentine's Day...my boyfriend (ex now) took me to KFC. It was kinda awkward because our relationship was already going down hill. Then I received a small pink teddy. I wasn't happy. I guess it's because I got him something more that came from me...my creativity. Oh well. But the date was a flop.

Let's see-
- There was the one who kept texting and cell photo-ing crap at the rather nice Japanese restaurant I took her to. I'm talking photos and texts in a rapid-fire fashion for most of the evening. I couldn't wait to get her out of my sight. - There was the drama queen who just HAD to make it a point to give her opinion about everything. AND she had to make it a point to make sure EVERYBODY knew about it, too. I ended up leaving her at the restaurant at one point. |

those are some terrible dates. 
Guess I should be counting my lucky stars. Haven't really had a Terrible one yet. definately have had my share of boring ones. I always try to have something interesting at the venue if it's a blind date. (for example: dinner-benihannas drinking-pool or dancing or show) That way, if your date is boring, at least you can enjoy the show! 
I also am not always rico suave, so the entertainment can help start good conversation. hate coffee houses for the first date unless I already am comfortable with the girl.(too much awkwardness can be overwhelming if there's nothing going on or the conversation drifts off) bottom line- a good venue can make even a bad date entertaining.

I also had a date with someone who took me to a bar to meet up with her friends who were already three-sheets to the wind, where she ended up being three-sheets to the wind. I had to drive her back home after she puked herself.
