well, i think that you will find more people on the dating sites than will admit to it... although it is becoming common i think that some people have it in there minds that if you are on a dating site, there must be something wrong with you... why cant you find a partner in your own town... whatever!!!... i would tell people... of course its not the very first thing that would come out of my mouth...LOL

I told my best friend and my daughter. I was gonna tell my next best friend, till she started telling me about a man we know who was going to meet someone he met online, and I heard the disapproval in her voice. And my parents, forget about it, they'd never understand. I told my friends he's a friend of the family, don't know what I'll tell my family, cause if my friends and family ever get together ... oh well, I'll cross that bridge.

No , not with friends ~ most of them know more or less For the two I met in person I was very ummm.. discreet with details with acquaintances. Odd - shouldn't be that way ... its just another way to meet?? Right? Why the stigma? shrug

My ex husband is someone I met online. People thought I was crazy when I told them how we met. I just told them I don't have a lot of fear and I trust too many people. Would I do it again?! I might not be as trusting as last time, but absolutely.
