There is no group on earth that means more to me than soldiers. My daddy was a Lt Commander in the Navy. He was a hero. Written about in a book on the Navy.  God bless his soul.
Now I have a chance with another hero and I will not take it lightly .. 
Did you meet him on a military dating site? I tried one but they were just as flakey as any other site -- military or not. It sort of burst my fantasy bubble that military guys had more relationship oriented integrity. 
I'd still like to meet military specific men. Any ideas? 
No actually we met on another site but I then got back with my exBF and couldn't meet him. He stepped out of my life in respect of that. When he was over in Iraq he found me on here .. he hit me up and asked me right away if I was still in a relationship. I said no, and the rest is histoy. What I love about him is his heart. He is very very very cute, and great build, but his heart is incredible. I have no idea where to find any others cuz I wasn't looking for him in the first place - he found me LOL

Thanks Heather! And Melody too .. Biggest drawback is that he IS such a sold-out soldier so now that he will be training for Special Forces he will give himself completely to that. I'm hoping the 2 mos he has home before he goes to Ft Bragg will convince him he needs to keep me in his life.

If he's gone to the efforts that he has to find you, I'm sure he'll want to keep you in his life. You'll just have to remember the type of man you're getting involved with & if you do get to the point of a serious relationship & marriage...you're marrying the service as well as the man. |

WHY are soldiers soooooooooo friggin sexy? They are brave, kickass, take no prisoners kinda men. He's totally ROCKIN my world

Lady these are wonderful men!!! They love deeply, live fully, give heartily, protect fiercely, and so much more but there are also a few things to remember... They love to do for others, take risks, and live on things that a lot of people wouldn't even think of doing. I'm not saying these are bad things just things to watch for and be prepared for. The military is thier first love when they stay in and sometimes when they don't. Danger is like a drug for them and it rules. My brother was a Marine before he died and that was not just what he did it was who he was until he died. I wish you the best and give him my thanks!!! OOHRAH!!!!! Semper Fi!

Yeah, even though my dad is retired navy I still refer to myself as a navy brat.
Went out with a few seal team members too and a girlfriend of mine was married to one so there were times when he had to just up & leave & she had no idea where he was or when he'd be back....but she knew that when she married him. |

 My daddy went thru hell in Vietnam. he killed a lot of VC. Lost a lot of his brothers in arms. It affects him even to this day. In a lot of ways its like he never left Took him many years to talk about what happened to him over there.

Yep, and you learn when it's time to be independent and take care of things and when to break him back into regular life.......when my dad was overseas my mom had to take care of everything & make all the decisions....when my dad came back I'd automatically ask my mom if I could do something & she say "go ask your dad"...I'd go ask & he'd say.."go ask your mom"....lol Being in the middle was such a pain

At least you have a man. who i am EXTREMELY grateful to have....just wish his work schedule would ease up some......40+ hrs/wk at one job.....30 hrs on the weekends at his other job (he's helping a friend out that nearly died in a trucking accident) |
