I honestly wonder how some guys can get a hunters safety card. I've seen some guys do really insane things. Things that get other hunters shot. I head up the mountain when all the idiots have gone home and just wonder around enjoying my time up there with very few guys around.

Maine has a no tolerance policy, (now), after a woman was shot hanging up her laundry. I stopped hunting years ago after a shot hit the tree I was standing next to. I agree, to many idiots with rifles shoot at whatever moves, not what they can clearly see.

My brother's cottage is on the lake but is srrounded by acres and acres of woods..its beautiful ! Sometimes he has a problem with bears and he has to be really careful.

I don't know either...they threw my dog in the pond. I hunted for him for a long time. Found him 2 weeks later, floating at the edge with a hole in him.

A bunch of hunters tried to steal him the year before. I went in and messed up there hunting by howling for my dog. Boy were they pissed but they brought my dog to me. He was so neat, he didn't ride in a dog box he would set in the seat beside me. He was a pet and a hunting dog.

We would ride down the road and I would know if deer would be near by he would go crazy. God help me if they jumped in front of the truck.

He about tore the inside of my truck apart one day on a dirt road. Did the only thing I could open the door and let him go. Nothing sounds better than a good dog on trail of a deer or a coon dog that has treed.
