Are you hoping Obama will succeed or fail?

Seeing as he will be our president I hope he succeeds

So far so good, no reason to think he will do bad. My expectations for being able to fix all the flubbes of Bush are not high in his time given though so he will do what he can I am sure.

Well I didnt vote for him.
And was going to say fail.
But the shape our democratic congress left us in I dont think we can take any more so thats why I hope he succeeds.

I don't know anyone, including my self that has major expectations for the first year maybe two. We expect one can't fix the mess of the last 8 years in one or two.

I hope he does well and wish him well, despite the fact that I have a few reservations on some things. But I will wait to see what he does.

I think he inspires hope and that's what we all need. If people think we can change things, then we will all work for change. Keep the good vibes rollin'

Unfortunately he is off to a VERY bad start... He's voted to reinstate the patriot act, which overrides the third amendment, he praised the economic stabelization act, which most economist agreed was the worst path for our financial crisis, and now he is trying to organize a group of civilians, "equal to the size and power of our military", to help fight domestic terrorism (anyone remember Hitler's SS?).

I also have trouble ignoring the FACT that he reinstated Clinton's old administration with a handful of Bush's to deal with our current problems. To me, he has already proven that he isn't for "change" before he set foot in office.

On an up side he has pushed to continue with stem cell research
