The "Palestinian" cause is the worlds greatest appeal to emotion fallacy. In what other situation could one nation defending itself from relentless rocket and homicide bomber attacks be considered the aggressor? Those who support the Palestinian cause always resort to saying "But what about the kids!" as if Israeli children's lives have no value. The only way that anyone can support the Palestinians over the Israelis is by believing the Palestinian's own distorted history. If you take the time to look at the actual history and what is actually happening there, then you get a completely different view on the subject.
So I'm wondering how many people who oppose Israel's right to defend her people do so because they have been fooled and how many do so because they are Jew haters. |

Yitzhak Shamir
Prime Minister of Israel from 1983 to 1984 and again from 1986 to 1992. In Mandate Palestine In 1935, he immigrated to Mandate Palestine, Hebraizing his surname to Shamir in the same year. He joined the Irgun Zvai Leumi, an underground Jewish militia organization directed against the British control of Palestine and inspired by the views of Vladimir Jabotinsky. When the Irgun split in 1940, Shamir sided with the most militant faction, Lehi, headed by Avraham Stern. This group has been described as a terrorist organization. In secret contacts with German representatives at Beirut the group offered to open up a military front against the British in the Middle East in return for the expulsion (rather than extermination) of the Jewish population of Europe to Palestine. In October 1944 he was exiled and interned in Africa by the Mandate authorities. He made an attempt to escape from one of the camps by hiding in a water tank. He was returned, along with the other detainees, after the Israeli Declaration of Independence in 1948. As one of Lehi's triumvirate, he authorized the assassination of the United Nations representative in the Middle East, Count Folke Bernadotte who was seen by Shamir and his collaborators as an anti-Zionist and "an obvious agent of the British enemy". Regarding these actions, Shamir remarked that "neither Jewish ethics nor Jewish tradition can disqualify terrorism as a means of combat." Shamir and his fellow underground fighters greatly admired the Irish Republicans and sought to emulate their anti-British struggle. Jew Haters? What a joke. Why would people hate Jews when all we want is fairness and justice of all humans. Jews prove themselves.
They think America owes them something while they have a long history of being aggressive and over reacting like in Lebanon, they lost a soldier and destroyed a country. And people are suppose to respect that? There was a young American student in Israel wanting to help the Palestians and a Jewish soldier bulldozed her down. No one has ever even been brought to trial. She was one of ours. If America had such violent knee jerk reactions as Israel, we would have bombed Israel. She was a non vilolent person killed by violence while trying to stop the illegal demolition of a home belonging to Palestinians…. IN PALESTINE. She was a twenty three year old American with her whole life ahead of her. She was a person that cared…. cared in such a way that she was moved to participate in the activities of the Movement…. cared enough to risk her life. Her faith in her fellow man did not allow her to believe that her life was actually in danger, which raises the question of was her murderer actually a fellow man or was he transformed into a beast? Whatever the answer is, Rachel Corrie is dead…. murdered in cold blood in Palestine by Israelis. She was not the first, nor the last, but she will always be remembered for her bravery and devotion. |

An article titled "Terror" in He Khazit (The Front, a Lehi underground newspaper) argued as follows:

dont want in your foolish arguement but I do operate heavy equipment...You cant see anything directly in front of the dozier and you cant hear anything..Anyone who walks near heavy equipment when it is operational is either a fool or attempting to injury or kill themselves....I crushed a golfcart several years back because someone ran it infront of where I was working to save a bird nest and the insurance company and the courts completely cleared me and inturn charged the driver with malicious damage...

Listen to the story that is told by Rachael's friends who were witnesses in the aritle by World prout assembly and the stories start to sound the same. i had read those. i had not seen the rather well described discussion about how the previous ISM descriptions had been probably fabricated, exaggerated and faked! after seeing the videos posted above, i am inclined to believe that the Corrie instance was in fact an accident but was misreported by her colleagues. |
