Just the other day Talking to a friend on the phone I realized without him Just how much I'm alone We talked for a while About the "us" that we could be I wonder what he sees And if it's the real me He doesn't run from my demons Instead he makes me laugh Teasing that without him I am only half He has a smile That melts my heart I'm so glad in my life He plays a part This man is kind Gentle and strong When I think about him My heart beats a different song I love him dearly He is a wonderful friend I hope it grows deeper Never finding end (((D)))
