Smile! You are a nice enough looking guy, but you don't look friendly staring at the camera. It looks like you are posing for a mug shot. I disagree that you are too young. You're 18, and there's nothing wrong with you being on a dating site.

Yes sweetie, a smile is an eye catcher. Some guys can look scary when they don't smile. And do spell check, it helps..because some ladies care if you can, and notice if you can't. Sometimes we rush and its just a typo but a pattern says otherwise.
