communication breakdown

under wear left on the kitchen floor...

Depends on how it got there... Whenever there is underwear left on my kitchen floor it means we just couldn't wait to get to the bedroom!

Who's on top

Looking at several of my married friends, here's what I see.
A lot of arguments about:

Money and bills.
Internet porn.
Housekeeping.(or the lack of)
The In-laws.
(And in one couple's case)A screaming match about cheating.

Money
flirting/infidelity
child/children
in laws
housework
inattention/lack of affection/sex

Seems arguments have most often stemmed from 'control' issues in my past relationships...whether about money, household chores or where to go for dinner.

I used to tease the ex by asking him who gave him the whistle. He reminded me of a camp counselor...always planning my day, our vacation or deciding what and where I would/should be doing, going, thinking...etc. Gave him a big silver whistle as a gag gift one year for his b-day. It was funny at the time. But, ya know, after awhile...not so much.

finances I don't find cooking and cleaning to ever be an issue I enjoy those things

money and condom or no condom

when it is going good there's no fighting on any issue no matter how large the gulf of disagreement, can't pay the rent, have to put off surgery or dental work, no car etc. it'll all work out with just a little love

when it sucks, then the arguments are about the most inconsequential things, where the socks go, how to squeeze the toothpaste, who gets the mail, who uses too many forks...

poo poo on the bathroom ceiling. we seem to fight about this all the time.

In my last relationship, our fights were pretty much spread equally over every topic imagineable.

i would say it has to be money... lack thereof or lack of communication about it.
