Some very good movies mentioned here.

I agree with willaxtman on Very Bad Things.

American Beauty...*sigh* brings me to tears nearly every time. Might be my age.

The Shootist..maybe John Wayne's best movie.

Wicker Man, Perfect Storm and AI are all up there.

The Invisible was another one. I watched that one in Edmonton, and I've never seen a movie that moved the whole audience to tears like that.

Maybe there's just something in the water in Edmonton. Or maybe their shoes were on too tight.laugh

Seen a lot of old ones name, but the newest one i saw was Seven Pounds... when she lays in the water to hear his heart beat. Yeah. That will get anyone.

Just watched it last night.

Great movie.


"Joe" with Peter Boyle is another one. It reminded me a lot of "Suburbia", with hippies instead of punks.

i agree with requiem for a dream... but that WHOLE movie was depressing

HOW HAS NO ONE MENTIONED AMERICAN HISTORY X?!?!? he decides to change his life and be a better person like his brother, and gets murdered!
