I've got a call not so long ago, from a Hair salon. Her: Oh Hi This is _______ Me Good afternoon Her: I'm terribly sorry...but she can't do ya today. She has already too many clients.Do you want her to do ya tomorrow morning? Pause cuz I'm frantically trying to understand What she is trying to tell me Me: That's all right. What time? Her: 10:30 Oh yes! She was asking if ya want her do ya with Hairdryer? Pause I’m totally confused, not knowing what to say. Me: No, thank you .. I prefer it in natural way. Her: That's wonderful, honey. See ya tomorrow morning. Me: Yes, I'll be there. Have a great Day! ________________________________________________________________ Since my English is still far away from being perfect Please tell me What kind of service I going to get tomorrow at this salon? And is it appropriate to say "She can't do ya" if it is referred to a haircut to be done? |

She could of worded it a bit better. The way the conversation went did
not sound very professional on her part. But the sounds of it you will be going in she will cut and style and let it air dry as you said no to the hair dry. I could be wrong but that is what it sounds like to me. |

OK then the MALE version of that conversation has NOTHING to do with
cutting hair ... lmao.. sorry ... just being me .. LOL :) |
|
|
|
LOL Leave it to you TTO....lmao

aww ((( prussia ))) ya she cant do your hair today ,,and wants to know
if you want it blow dried ,,ya thats just so they can charge you more money ,,let it dry o'natural and save the 10 or 20 bucks more they will charge for the air on your hair;; |

I agree with Whisper, I think she asked if you wanted a cut and blown
out or not, this way "she" will know if they gave you enough time for your appointment. |

OK now that I have calmed down alittle ... ( Thx Whisper ..lol ) .. I
will come and blow dry your hair for free if you like ... ps .. personally I suscribe to the "wash, shake, and wear" method myself .. easier on the hair .. :) |

dryer in private and on special occasions ![]() ![]() |

OK then the MALE version of that conversation has NOTHING to do with
cutting hair ... lmao.. sorry ... just being me .. LOL :) yea ..that's exactly how I understood her message So here we go ... Male version ... "She can't do ya today" means "She can't have sexual entercourse with you, today" Normal version "She can't do ya today" means "she can't do your haircut today" Dangit Gotta love english language LMAO Thanks guys ...:^) |
