You can't Mirror. You really can't. You can point it out and offer to be supporive, but they must do it on their own, with professional help if they are serious. Groups work really well for these sorts of problems, but individual sessions are needed too. I truly believe these issues stem from childhood and early adulthood and until those problems are out they can't get over it and move forward to improve and gain confidence.
