to find a committed Christian woman who is also interesting and sensual? It seems that the women I am talking to are either non-Christian and sensual, Christian but too carnal, or committed Christian and seem only interested in quoting Bible verses.

define a committed christian woman..

A committed Christian woman is a woman who wants to do God's will in her life more than she wants to do anything else. I have unfortunately seen that many committed Christian women are afraid to enjoy life because they might commit a sin.

I'm sort of with you on this. I am wary of those who cut and paste every verse listed in some concordance just because it contains the same word. As a result all of them may not apply in the same context as it was written. Seems to me those people are in danger of "casting their pearls before swine" without first planting the seed required for spiritual growth. I have tried to engage those types in deeper conversation of Our Father's Word with no success. I wind up doing all the typing and they still just cut and paste, after maybe a brief personal question which I answer at length.
It's really frustrating. |

I think maybe the best we can hope for on this site is an occasional conformation (or condemnation) of our faith with not much meaningful dialogue.
BTW, when were you called to seek the kingdom my brother? |

I agree. I want eventually to be married to a committed Christian woman. But I want one who believes in living life to the fullest and enjoying it.

Saved since I was 3. Ordained since 1995. Ordained as a minister? Forgive me I'm not familiar with many denominational terms. |

Sorry, my question was somewhat vague. I have been saved and baptised for many years, spending several years in the fervent study of the Word. I guess I am curious as to how many other "passive or latent" christians have been only recently called to actively "Seek the Kingdom" such as I was.

I relate to what both of you are saying about our Sisters in Christ. Very frustrating on this site but if you're like me, you've already put it in God's hands and now we just have to have faith. |

Honestly, I have trouble with waiting entirely passively.

Who says to be passive? My dad used to say "if you don't like something enough, you'll change it".
You're still new to the site so give it time. I know how you feel because I'm in the same boat but I choose to not let the frustration get to me because I don't need the stress and anxiety. Just try everything you can think of to meet all the people you can and when you've done that, try harder! It's gets harder as we get older, no doubt... After all it's not like we're going to be hanging out at the mall or engaging in a lot of social activities like the kids do. The only reason I'm not down about it myself is I've made up my mind NOT to let myself get down. It's tough, I know, but don't give up because tomorrow, or the next day, next week, next month, might be the time it happens for you to be blessed with abundance beyond your dreams. If so, you'll look back on this time and have difficulty trying to remember why you were in such a fuss about it all. God bless and heaven help our hearts brother. <---Dr Pepper |

Not giving up is easy to say, but very hard to do. I have been hurt and disappointed so much that a lot of the time I think it would be easier on my heart to just give up in this area. I could lie and sound more "spiritual", but I would rather be honest.

A committed Christian woman is a woman who wants to do God's will in her life more than she wants to do anything else. I have unfortunately seen that many committed Christian women are afraid to enjoy life because they might commit a sin. Having true joy and meaning in your life, comes from living the will of God it has nothing to do with worrying about sinning. You don't know very many Christian woman, because I know from being one, I love life and I enjoy it every day. I am thankful for the here and now. Because I want to stay in the perfect will of God, I spend time with Him, yet live life to the fullest. Unless you are asking Christian women to do unChristian things, most Christian woman love life and do experience joy and want to share that. I am not trying to be rude. Just wanted you to know I think you're missing something on your end. Pray about it... |

I understand the difference between happiness and joy. And I know hundreds of Christian women.
