Very First date [from here] after being single - he is now my best friend!

One possible - talked for a long time - he came back from Iraq and was a liar. [never met]

Another serious possiblity -- met and too many complicating circumstances -- there was a clear possiblity of something, but alas nothing But still good friends!

Meet someone local, just literally around the block -- had a few dates and he is a great guy! --moved out of the city, so don't get to see him. He is dating someone else, but still friends!

So what's your record from here?

Met 2 people in person so far....don't talk to either one. The guy I met when I lived in NJ was HOT, but didn't want a relationship. The guy I met while living here in PA was a psycho loser.

When my ex was on here for awhile last year, she was the only person I ever knew in real life from this site. And I knew her years before I was ever here.

My prospects here are not very bright unless some radically different kinds of people start signing up....

Nope no record yet and I've been here a couple years now. I have chatted with a few possibilities (only one locally) but they all ended up nuffins.

Ok, so the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

First date - nightmare, couldn't get a word in and couldn't wait to leave.

2nd time - He was very sweet, we will be friends.

3rd time - wouldn't call it a date but very hot and I liked him alot. Hoping he calls.

First one.. met as friends shortly after joining.. ::chuckles::.. great guy.. awesome guy.. very local.. makes me blush to see him.. our schedules are complicated.. takes work to meet up... but its good... er still friends!

Second one.. local man.. had three great dates.. he seemed shady more and more we hung out.. then he turned nuts... demanding.. smothering.. Blah.. he still pops up every now and then... when drunk or lonely...

Third one.. local man... we could have fell in love with each other.. even said it.. lasted good couple months.. but we knew nothing could become.. he was moving due to his job.. which was fantastic.. and he would be dumb not to take.. so enjoyed as much as we could when we could... def a GREAT guy ladies

In my lifetime so far I have been involved with about twenty women in relationships all lasting between two weeks to three years.
Can't say if I am picky or not but I do not put up with bull doo doo for long. People change and so do their interests.
Its always something.
Sometimes it is better to just be friends.
Some of my exs are still friends, some are not.

The long lasting relationships are a fluke!
I will say that they are really nice flukes!
It shows that the odds can be wrong sometimes.

I have met three men from this site...

The first one lived too far away, and lied about his job.

The second one ended up being bi-polar and stole from me.

And the third...well, let's just say we are still friends and still hang out together.

As for knowing when you have found the right one, I think you must have chemistry from the beginning, and take the relationship sloooowwwww. And possibly perform a background check!!
