Here's a GOOD one! When you watch a movie...why does it look like automobile wheels are spinning backwards? (Maybe that's just me???) Ahhhh....one I actually know...kinda....lol When automobile wheels are filmed, or even just looked at while in motion, the human eye ( not to mention the camera ) cannot focus on the spokes ( for example a 5 spoke wheel such as the ones on my Grand Prix ) fast enough to show them in their proper positions. The eye will compensate for this by focusing in bursts that create the illusion of the wheels spinning in reverse. |
