what others see are three or four people dominating all the political and religious thread (different people for each) with their own agenda driven propagandizing and arguing with each other making it impossible for anyone else to entertain a reasonable discussion without it turning into a war of competing pasting of left/right blogs

so most people totally avoid these threads and leave them to you and quickstepper and the other propagandists

Perhapse if they cannot debate in an honest way its best for them not to participate. Fact and Data go a long way with me not propaganda and opinion.

these are the worst political threads of any public forum I have ever seen and I lay that squarely upon you and quickstepper and the other handful of liberal and conservative agenda driven people who seem to think that these threads are their personal property and think "if they cannot debate in an honest way its best for them not to participate"

Ok were at a whopping two people, so glad neither of you are moderators eh? But what exactly is it about this vid that brings out such emotional responces? Is there some part of it you didnt find accurate and if so please be specific so I can respond in a specific manner

Seeing as I have a 5 y/o daughter living IN Israel right now, I am going to go ahead and try to be as polite as possible.

And I have been there, multiple times.

When you are there, and you are running from a crazed man in a bulldozer smashing cars and running over people in the middle of Jerusalem, talk to me.

When you spend 2/3 of your day waiting for a bomb squad to deactivate a bomb at a bus stop that happens to be a couple feet from your car as you head off with your daughter and spouse to the friggin mall for a day of fun on Shabbat, call me.

When you are driving to the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) and you pass by all the friendly Arabs that live there that WON'T try to kill you and then you realise that just a bit further is the Arabs that WILL kill you, look me up.

When you can't tell which is which, and you are riding on a bus home from a hard day of work to be with your daughter and you have to sit there nervously, never knowing if today your bus will explode, feel free to drop me a line.




I am not saying that what Israel did was right. I am down right pissed actually. BUT Israel has been waiting for aid for YEARS to help come to a peaceful agreement with the Palestinians. NO ONE HELPED.

Finally, after years and YEARS of standing there helplessly with their hands tied as they watch women and children bombed, schools bombed, synagogues bombed, holy schools bombs, they said "Enough is Enough".

No one ever noticed that a majority of Israel's retaliation attacks was done at NIGHT, when the innocent children where home, asleep. Hamas has taken to hiding in schools. Bet you didn't know that.

Hamas is endangering the Palestinians willingly.

Oh, by the way....


How come none of the other Arabic countries are helping the Palestinians?

Why doesn't Egypt come to their aid? How come Egypt isn't opening their borders?

Im glad you dont have family in Gaza, they have no food no water no medical due to the blockade by Israel. As a US taxper I am discusted my tax money helps fuel the tragady on both sides. In regards to other Arabs helping, Iran has had many thousands of volunteers offer to fight.

I have family in Sderot, the city that is CONSTANTLY attacked by Palestinians.

By the way, America has NOT come to the aid of either side.


Which is why Israel was FORCED to do this.
