My newbie friend Bib
for poems with a rhyme
so that's what I did

you came to our shores
from a point over yonder
ran into old friends
and found new ones to ponder

I see you jump in
on the occasional thread
which tells my friend
you're not right in the head

now that was a joke
so don't get all crusty
you've been round a while
but that don't mean you're rusty

We've talked once or twice
we say things real plain
like our mutual friend
by the name of John Wayne

You asked for a rhyme
so I gave one my friend
and I'm sure we'll meet up
in Hell in the end

Here, here to new friendships,
To poets who rhyme
What a wonderful read,
I had a good time!

I always wished I could rhyme! I was the torture of my teachers cause I
could never rhyme when it was time. Of course they loved it but it was
always eclectic lol
