well, here it is, a half hour into the new year. Right now it sucks. So tired of seeing people around me coupled up and telling me to be patient! I'm trying to hold onto some promise for '09, given that it's an 11 year for me and they're usually pretty good (I'll be 55). But right now it feels like the odds are against me. I know the feeling will pass. Only 8,759 1/2 hours until we do this again. May we all be in a better space by then!

Just got a surprise phone call from a former M2 member. Still alone...but between that and e-mails don't feel lonely. With M2 there are always folks to talk to.

WOW! Lots of "boo-boo lip" in here tonight! Hate to report, but I'm thankful for the "aloneness" right now. Couldn't wait for my dinner party guests to heave-ho before the strike of midnight. I'm kinda burned-out on the "let's all get together and celebrate mode" to be honest. wipes brow and welcomes the SILENCE Sure, I like company...but, I more adore the QUIET!
