To hide away

In my own space

A baby asleep

Behind four walls

From wishing of

In its own right

The walls can't contain

A love that is

No real brain

There in every love story

Reminding me each day

Four walls can't stop

This love at all



So closing my eyes

I can feel you

Your hug, your presence

Haunting me

Yet I try to let go

For fear or tears

Yet through years

That love reminds me

How blessed I am

To have loved

At all

When so many people

Search to find a love

such as this

Unconditional and true
