i'm starting to think maybe i should...i've been single way too long...but i don't think my standards are high at all...so if they were lowered...lol they'd go below the charts

Why lower your standards even if it is just a booty call? Desperation maybe?
I am so f&*#ing H#$%y right now I'd hump anything? No, fortunately not that desperate yet...thought I was a time or two..well maybe a 1000 times or maybe it was 5000 or more times...but no...just did the booty call thing instead... Does doing it with my exs best friend mean I lowered my standards? No, it means (I was attracted to him) because he is very fine eye candy, and also a good friend...we both needed a booty call...plus it had the added benefit of hoping my ex would find out and feel a twinge of something...(sweet revenge). 
If it hadn't been for my friend...I may have lowered my standards out of need or desperation...there is a lot of people I hooked up with that I dumped almost as quick as I met them...there was something I didn't like about each of them and I didn't want to waste anymore of my time. Whenever I have lowered my standards it has always been a bust. JMO

I've made the mistake of doing just that with my last couple of relationships. Now I've implemented a whole new tactic- I don't even try anymore.

Why would I set myself up for failure?
If I lower my standards would I not end up with someone that I could not be with long term? Course my standards might be more or less than anothers. I sorta like to tailor them to fit my needs. |

Due to today's economy I have had to lower my standards a lot! Now if I could just find my date!!! Some little kid stold her!!
