Seriously, Stalkers can be very dangerous. I had a neighbor who turned out to be a stalker. I found out when he knifed me the day I was packing to move out. It's downright scary. Yes, they are dangerous. I'm sorry that happened to you. |

sorry to hear such.....sweet. did you catch him! stalking I mean? I had no clue he was stalking me. I found out how much he knew about me, my schedule, etc. when he came to "bid farewell" and I made the mistake of letting him in my apartment. We had talked in the past, but I never knew he was attracted to me. I kept my head through the ordeal and was able to talk him down... neck and hand bleeding. Drove myself to police station in fear of bleeding to death on the way to hospital. He was talking about his time in Nam and a lot of other weird stuff... freaked me out. After I snapped him out of it, he started spouting how he loved me and didn't understand how he could hurt me.... etc. etc. Real scary stuff. |

It can be funny to joke about but sure isn't funny when you have to go through it.
Stalking has nothing to do with genuine admiration or love it is about control and intimidation. Sometimes there are no limits to how much a person is willing to risk to continue. Being arrested, jailed, beat up, or killed won't stop them. They don't care if they hurt others and often don't care if they cause terrible emotional, financial, or physical pain to the person they are stalking. And when they can not have the person they are stalking there is no limit how much they are willing to do to make them miserable. I have seen houses and cars trashed, careers or businesses ruined, pets killed, and terrible injuries even murder, and people jailed sometimes for the rest of their life. Getting a weapon and having it in your home is a serious risk of suicide, child death, robbery, and killing someone innocent. |

ok, I was wondering, about this control issue......if a stalker were to aquire control, are the results more than often negative? or, in some instances does allowing this control end up ok.......I realize the danger....but I am a guy. besides women stalkers do exist! I just dont think Id be able to say no to her.....is that weak?!!!
