Topic: FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS? GOOD OR BAD

Ok So "In Theory" Friends with benefits sounds like a good idea.. Getting the best of both worlds... You get (hopefully) Great sex and a great friend to hang out with...Unfortunatley one or both usually end up developing "feelings" that weren't supossed to be... So let me hear it: Can friends with benefits work? Good Idea or Bad Idea?

Always ends with someone getting feelings hurt... Be it someone finds someone else to be with... Be it someone ends up liking the other and not vice versa... Always ends with someone getting feelings hurt... If you are cold hearted or strong enough for it go ahead... I got a bit of a tiny heart left so no thanks for me...

Some folks find a way to make it work. I can't turn my heart off and on like that though.

I totally agree with Ella. People that might agree with it are really young and totally don't understand the potential for problems and hurt. They have to realize that ideas of youth change over time and one bad run in changes the heart.

I can only say that there is only one time it has ever worked for me...and that's because we were great friends, but we both knew there was no way it would ever work out long term. LOL HE was a mess...

Makes sense.. Ive done it a few times and didnt really work.. Either i developed feelings or he did but never both at the same time.. It was a rollercoaster...Only one time did it actually work and we are still friends to this day... I was just curious on everyone elses take on it..

it works for a while., but normally friends with benefits normally have other friends with benefits and thats dangerous and unhealthy.

bad idea, friends are friends. after you **** them, the friend fades away and other feelings arise.
