Because for some dating is difficult & the fear of being lonely again.

 Why do people break up and then get back together knowing that it probably won't work out the second time around? I did it because there's only one person who has any hope of understanding me at all -- and it wouldn't surprise me if I did it again. |

I did that once...mainly it was because they already knew me. Tried to be optimistic although it didn't work out. It isn't something I regret, though.
