Peace in my world (my thoughts) there is no fear, an ever evolving of kindness towards all
man kind and them some,,,an un-earthly moment of Awww-waking of positive being in mind,
body and soul... when one finds peace within himself then he can push forward and maybe just
maybe make a difference and so on and so on....

What violence is necessary?

Start 10 people in a room with no violence, why would violence ever be necessary if all 10 had plenty of resources?

When the Earth takes back what is hers, when her patience has finally worn out and she pushes the Reset Button there will be peace.

eradicate the pestilence of the human plague and the world will be a peaceful place.

Perhaps this 'Global Economic Crisis' is the start... all great empires fall... and the Empire of Greed is hopefully coming to an end.

I think the "E" is the key. The realization that we are all one. What you do to others, is only a reflection of what you do to yourself. Control is an illusion, most everything you think is "real" is an illusion.

PEACE exists, we just do not all live in it.

BTW, "violence" must exist in order to live on this planet in this form.........depending only on your definition of violence. In order to live, I must kill whether it be plant or animal. For life to be given, life must be taken..........

Peace, definited as a state of non aggression. So its more of a socialogical question. Why is there violence and hostility, or do you mean inner peace in oneself? Since these two concepts are linked, becasue the whole is made of components the ills of society and the concept of peace and harmony can only be achieved by self-actualization. When this occurs you develop emapthy, something our society almost discourages as we parade the sick as entertainment, make war for resources, which what war has not been for such. As the population doubles every 40 years and resources become strained the philosophy of peace will be obselete. However for those who blindly go about thier lives yelling at other motorists and are in conflict with other people this may seem relevent, as the self is the deity or guiding force in our society, get over yourself, you only exist in your head and as silohettes of other people perspective to use as a comparison so they can see themselves and suit thier need for self love. My philosophy for peace is kill yourself. Metaphorically of course.

Peace is impossible. It's just flat out, impossible. It's human nature to be greedy, to be selfish, to be hateful. And, with all those things, you can't have peace. Too much has happened for there to be peace. Minds, and free will has been shaped too much for it to be anything more than an over rated thing people wear on their shirts.

thats where u r wrong, PLENTY OF RESOURCES, there arent enough recources, this is y hundreds of thousands die of hunger evey day, and each day the recources grow smaller, i believe in peace, but peace is a mindset, in each person, not human nature, the only way for peace is to have everyone working toward the common goal, we have to teach it in our schools, we have to put more research into new technology were we arent dependant on such resources, then there can be peace, when we have nothing to fight over, but still people would fight over land, violence is in our human nature, and the only way to stop a violent person is with violence.
