Do you have a great bond with your dog? Some people think I am weird I am soooooooo close to my dog! He is my companion and friend. I can tell you some stories about how spoiled my dog is. He got fixed and I kept him on my lap for 2 days hahaha! He eats off my fork, sleeps in my bed next to me on the pillow, and when I get ready in the morning and blow dry my hair he walks between my legs and stays there until I am done.

I love my dog, but not that much LOL! When I moved in with my BF he couldn't adjust to the new house here, so he lives with my parents. He loves it there, and he has my mom's dog to keep him company. There, he is spoiled to pieces though, so it's ok!

I have 5 dogs.
One chihuahua
and the rest are mix chihuahua.
I love them.
I'm so close to them.

The pure chihuahua is the mother of the rest.
(Her name is Isabella)
I am very close to her.
She's usually inside.
Very spoiled.

I have a English Block Head Choch lab who is 135 pounds and he is nine but still kicking it! My daughter just got another block head lab for Christmas and my dog is scared of this little thing, it is kind of funny!

I have had my yorkie for over 7 yrs. Without her faithful and unyielding love do I think I could have made it through some very rough spots. She does not talk, but she knows at just the right moment when to **** her head as if she is totally understanding what I am telling her.

She is like the little girl I never had. I do not feed her from my plate or anything like that, as I want her to have good manners for company...

But I do shower her with her own doggie treats and such.

I thought ALL Labs were "block heads". I had a yellow years back, he was small for a Lab but he was a damn good dog. I've got a Golden Retriver that sleeps NEXT TO my bed every night. I wouldn't let a dog in my bed. They steal the blankets and fart.

Have two labs...yellow and chocolate. Both are very special to me. Though the chocolate one hasn't grown up. The yellow is 8 and can't get on the bed anymore...but she sleeps beside it.

The cats claim the bed at night. But dogs are the alarm clock.

I just got a new bed and it is really high, and even though he is a BIG dog there are times I have to help him on the bed, I dont think I could sleep if he was not right there next to me.

Olive is my best buddy, but I don't feed her table food or let her beg. I have a rule that when I am cooking or eating animals not allowed in the kitchen. Since she was raised this way she automaticly settles down in the living room & I can cook & eat in peace. I just can't deal with sad eyes begging for food, my critters are spoiled, yet well behaved. She sleeps by /on my feet under the blankets.

This forum makes me think of the old saying "The more I know of mankind the more I like my dog". Pets are cool but don't think they replace a legitimately good relationship but at times I wonder. lol
