| Topic: What do you think of someone who has 2 profiles up? | |

I have been chatting with someone... pretty seriously, and I think they actually have 2 profiles up here on Mingle.
I was getting to actually like this person and they had mentioned meeting in person. Supposedly they are all in to honesty and no games... so this kind of took me by surprise to come across it... Neither profile has a picture... I had asked for one, because I usually do not really talk to people without a photo except for hi or such. He said he didn't have one currently but would get one soon... So I am probably the fool once again I am to assume? I did leave a message on the second profile asking if it was him... LOL |

For one, it is against the rules to have two profiles. I would report him.

Really? Well I guess I learn something new everyday... I would just think a person would update or edit their profile...

Plus it sounds like he may not be too sure of himself, and no pictures in this day and age? I wouldn't trust him.

My puppy has a profile so technically I dont have two.

Well he is a bit tech challenged I believe...
 Maybe that is why he has two, he didn't know any better... I don't know... but if it is him on both I am definetely going to say something about it... next time he comes on... LOL

I am sure that 90% of the people on here have profiles on other sites. I think that they do.
So, if they have two or three files here, it is not an issue. Your investment of getting interested in a person without a current picture--taken inside the prison--is a concern. Okay?

there you haveit... honesty and trust you feel he may have ( but your not absolutlysure) another profile... (trust issues) and he says no picture avaiable? BS.. with todays tecnology even a second grader can down load a pic... so is he honest with you.. my suuggestion is when in doubt.......run

I could see a person coming back and not remembering their log in info, and creating another account, but in that case, the 1st acct would not be visible, so thats out.

By investment... We just seemed to have a lot in common... No I have not committed myself...
Thanks for all points of view... will take those into consideration. I am pretty cautious by nature, so just needed some confirmation. |

I am sorry you can not really totally dig this person if you have never seen a picture stick to your old routine of only looking at pros with pictures plus the rest of us who put pictures and actually fill the profiles out are serious about it he must not truelly want to find someone if he can not get a picture on there and second if your already haveing problems and doubts b4 you see him dont you think thats a sign to next him hehehee Best of wishes!

Anybody or the actual person who created the profile? If it was not ever deactivated... Because the other profile sounds like it is quite a bit older... |

   I have a hard enough time with the one profile on here,, why would I want to torture myself with a second,,? Unless of course,,, 1. I'm a liar and a cheat or 2. I believe in the "doublemint" theory,,,"two are better than one" In any case, I see double profiling as a BIG RED FLAG,,and agree with HK,,,no excuse for no pic

Well anyways thanks for everyone's input... I think I am going to just back off of this site for awhile and gather my wits once again...

If they refuse to put up a pic or send you a pic then it's a big red flag in my book.
