So far this year I've lost my house, my wife, son to a car accident and might not have a job in January. Gotta get better.

Not looking for sympathy, just a few words of encouragement. This holiday season is proving to be pretty hard on me.

You have already begun the rest of your life. Things will get better. Time does make things easier to deal with. The holidays are a notoriously bad time for the recently separated or divorced.

For what it is worth I like to think that when things get so bad that you have nowhere to go but up. My mother always said And this too shall pass, all bad things have an end. One thing that helps me is to think that no matter how bad my life is someone has it worse and would give anything to trade places with me. Keep you head up..What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger..Hope this helps.....

A whole lotta folks have lost their houses recently. That variable rate took alot of people out. I bet there's 100 foreclosures right here in Red Bluff. Yep, it's uphill from here Bud. You've already gone thru more than any man should. I wish you luck and happiness. Dennis

2008 was the Perfect Storm. I'm hoping for 2009. KTF (Keep the Faith).

For several years I've been waiting for 2008. I was expecting a great year. Every year, during the first few months, I had trouble NOT writting 2008 on my checks. This started in 1999. I kept thinking that maybe that meant this would be MY year. Things great.

Been a bad year. Making only half what I used to make, couldn't keep the house, taking forever to pay the price of the bankruptcy, can't seem to find some of the paperwork ANYWHERE.

So yeah, hoping for a MUCH better year next year.

i went thru pretty much the same thing 5 years ago and tho i try to look at it as a test of some higher being i wonder if that higher being realizes he a pissin me off and if i ever get my hands on him or her ...IT'S ON OH YEAH ITS REALLY ON....

Regarding my son, people keep telling me God called for him. So he needed him more than we did? Seems selfish. He was a great kid and could have done a lot of good here.

Just venting now.

I sure as hell hope next year is better. I got injured at work and although I am off of work for another week, they have given me doubts about paying me for the time off which I will wait until Monday to see if there going to be that stuiped to really not pay me after having a doctor note and everything else.

I need to find another job as the company I work for isn't worth all the stress I reasonly had to deal with.

Hope corbas and every body else new years get's better.

Because it can only get better. Just have to think that way and everything will be alright, I know it's easier said then done but well we can all only live one day at a time.

When something happens to my daughters, I remind them, "What could have happened worse?" Just down the road? Perhaps . . . it's mercy and grace.
