I got Western Digital My book Essential just got done formatting it from Fat32 to NTFS.
Talk to someone and they said now I have to download something to it so make it work right I googled that but no luck on an answer. Anyone know if this is true or is she full of sh*t thanks |

If you're running XP or Vista, you don't need to do a thing. NTFS drivers are already loaded. Try copying a file to it & see. Either it works or it doesn't.

Yep. Full of it. Besides, every new portable drive always comes with a load of crap on it. Delete it all. You don't need their "help". This will save you from future problems.
