Hi everyone,
i have been meaning to post this but always seem to get busy... Dreams, do you like them? i mean, do you go to sleep in hope of dreams? or would you rather not have them? What do you like to dream about? Do you enjoy the puzzle of figuring them out? How they related to the day etc? I go to bed with the hope of having dreams. To me, it is a short story, albeit sketchy, and most times inconclusive, i do enjoy them. How about you? |

I feel that I live as much (or more) in my dreams...whether lucid or nonsensical. They usually always have a beginning, middle & end & are very vibrant & vivid. My dreams are more often than not, a method of problem-solving...but I've been known to play in them as well...

I like trying to figure them out. Most of the time..i can pretty much decipher them. The cool thing about dreams though, is that you cannot fail, since the facts aren't all there. |

People think I'm nuts when I tell them that I seek guidance from departed loved ones in dreams...& the fact that you have the power to control your dreams... Hey man...it works for me... Why should I care what others think?

A lot of mine are very fragmentary -- and I will spend some time trying to reconstruct and remember them....
I did a lot of reading about dream analysis back when I was studying psychology, and found that there are a lot of conflicting ideas out there -- I've developed some theories of my own, and they have been useful on occasion, but don't really apply to every situation. Still, I think we can learn something from dreams. |

Yes, I like dreams. If I have the oportunity to sleep long enough, I have extremely interesting and convoluted ones.
Sometimes I have disturbing ones. But as a child, I learned lucid dreaming. Sometimes I can't take control. Then I just get up. But even the few disturbing ones doesn't change the fact that I do go to sleep hoping I have interesting dreams. |

Still, I think we can learn something from dreams. I agree on all the conflicting theories out there. I decided that the idea that each item means something makes no sense. My dreams have SO MANY items that making a list and compiling the different meanings results in a hodge podge of stuff that makes no sense. I go for the thematic interpretations for dream analysis. |

For the most part, I enjoy my dreams. They're usually more interesting than movies and they're interactive. I do occasionally have disturbing dreams, which I could live without but I can usually find some coralation in them with some real life issue I'm experiencing at the time.

Sometimes i can make sense of them..most times not, but i really do enjoy the puzzle. I have had those type dreams but I havent had one about you yet
Hang in there kiddo, i might just grow on ya... |

Typically, moving, such as rolling over, can break a cycle and you dream differently. It is recommended for children who have bad dreams. But I've paid close attention to my dreams and patterns since I was little. And like I said, I learned how to lucid dream back then too. SO I wonder if that is why it is so easy for me to go back into the same dream right where I left off if I wake up for a few minutes. |

Once a dream is interrupted, then it is lost for me...i might get snippets of that dream in others though...

Ever have the same dream back to back nites I do sometimes.....Ever wake up during a dream go to the restroom and go back to sleep and the dream continue from where you left off ==I have I think it's an illusion of having the same dream. I bet many times you think in your dreaming "oh yeah"...this is how it was now what's next"... It's the "similar" feeling , much like having a "deja vous" in real life, it's not the same, it just feels like you have already seen it. |

Interesting idea, and may be right...it's hard to tell when you're half asleep lol..but it does make sense. |
