Am I the only one that doesn't get it?

I just received an invitation to a birthday party next month for a one year old.

Everyone invited are adult friends and acquantiances of the babies parents.

And none of us have toddlers ourselves.

I could understand it if the invitation was to parents of other toddlers in a play group or day care or some such thing.

I just don't understand all adult birthday parties for infants.

My pet peeve that goes with this is when people have birthday parties for kids, & the adults sit around drinking.

THEY ARE INVITING YOU....

BECUZ THEY WANT EVERYONE TO DOTE OVER THEIR CRYING , SNOT NOSE BUNDLE.....WHO HAPNS TO BE LOOKN HALF-WAY DECENT HIS B-DAY...

AT LEAST FOR A FEW HRS....

ON THE PLUS SIDE....KIDS PARTIES USUALLY REALLY START WHEN THE KIDS GO TO BED....

SO JUST DRINK UP..AND BE GLAD YOU DONT HAVE TO WATCH THE KID 24-7
